Mark Smith - Improviser, Director, Producer & Teacher

A bit about Me:
Mark is an award-winning director and improv facilitator who has worked extensively across the globe, including Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Madrid, and throughout the UK. He currently leads the spontaneous theatre and storytelling programs at LJMU. His work has toured the UK and beyond on multiple occasions.
Mark is driven by a passion for spontaneous performance and its unique power to resonate deeply within an audience's soul.
For 30 years, he has developed innovative formats and coached improvisers to bring honesty and playfulness to their work. His work continues to evolve as he pushes the boundaries of improvisation. He is a firm believer in the transformative power of performance and its ability to change the individual.
Mark has coached and directed numerous teams, helping them develop new formats or refine existing shows for performance.
He is currently offering two new workshops available to teams and communities. Sessions start at £250 (includes expenses) for three hours (within a three-hour radius of Liverpool). Slightly more for longer distances / overnight stays.
